CAFE FREI started its operation in France 3 years ago. In the near future, it's planning to open new shops in Nice.

About the position:
We are looking for an English-speaking general manager who is able to manage the master franchise activity in France, ready to develop the franchise network. Has strong skills to motivate the team, believing in constant training and development and will be never tired to control the procedure. Will work to achieve the previously agreed strategy. Will take full responsibility of the P/L, with a strong work ethic and transparent operation towards shareholders.


We are looking for a person with experience in:

  • General manager position;

  • Business administration;

  • Franchise operation;

  • Work process management (to build, to train, to control);

  • New shop opening financing (equity, loan);

  • Real estate reconstruction;

  • Hiring and training;

  • Staff and client conflict management;

  • Min 6 years in extensive business management;

  • Min 3 years in a management position in the EU, or in the USA.



  • To see the big picture while focusing on the process and procedures necessary to keep the financial plan;

  • Strong organizational and management skills, analytical and problem-solving ability;

  • Self-motivated individual who is able to deliver with minimum supervision whilst also working effectively as part of a team;

  • Computer skills advanced user of Excel, PPT;

  • Fluent English;

  • Strong communication skills;

  • Hungarian and/or French is an advantage;

  • Flexible work days;

  • Flexible travel schedule.


The operation is:

  • Supporting and controlling shop manager(s) in their everyday work;

  • Controlling the everyday operation of the shop;

  • Controlling staff according to our internal regulations and processes;

  • To create a strategy to recruit staff with the skills necessary to perform the role, ensuring effective training, coaching, appraisal, motivation and penalties;

  • To arrange financing to open more shops;

  • To maintain a good relationship with investors and financiers;

  • To find new shops;

  • To rent, or purchase new shops (rental, purchase, financing);

  • To renovate new shops (permits, architect, reconstruction);

  • To manage accounting, human resources, administration, legal, tax and activity of the Master franchise and Franchise company;

  • To report financial results and activity to the board of Master Franchise, Franchises, Shareholders;

  • To manage marketing, PR, promotion in the franchise (loyalty card, web, CRM, Facebook, Instagram).
